Formerly a rundown pub with some rooms, this has been stylishly refurbished by a local, young couple. Although it was attracting new customers, it was still largely seen as a pub, some local people were unaware of the changes and its potential for attracting customers and corporate guests from a wider catchment was largely untapped.

Many of the pubs and eateries in the surrounding area are bland and boring. We set about positioning the Coach House as an ‘oasis of affordable luxury.’ By adding a line under the logo – hotel l brasserie l bar – we immediately increased understanding of the scale, range and style of the new establishment. The introduction of a distinctive, upmarket Christmas feast menu was supported by a press campaign and a mailshot to prospective corporate clients.
The Christmas feast menu proved extremely popular, bringing in new corporate and private customers, many of whom have returned. The Coach House is building an enviable reputation across the region for a high quality offering at a reasonable price.
